Events Coordinator/ Windsor

We are hiring a full time Events Coordinator to join our team in Windsor! This is a new position for us. Please read the description posted and if this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!

The Events Coordinator is responsible for the full-cycle coordination of Special Events at our Windsor brewery, while being a passionate steward for craft beer and RRBC!

  • Respond in a timely manner to all special event inquiries, via email or phone
  • Maintain special events calendar and share with management on a weekly basis
  • Coordinate events between all departments including tours, tastings, kitchen, and pub
  • Be the single point person for all communications with the client
  • Oversee event staffing
  • Coordinate and oversee event setup and breakdown including any rentals and deliveries
  • Be onsite during all events
  • Assist with large party reservations in the pub as needed
  • Manage costs and work within a budget
  • Coordinate, receive and track invoices and payments from client to RRBC
  • Make each event a fun and memorable experience for our guests
  • Be professional and courteous with clients and coworkers at all times
  • Assist with coordinating off-site events as needed
  • Network with local wineries, chambers, tourism offices to promote the brewery special events program
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned


This position has no regular direct reports, but supervises employees scheduled to work special events


  • Alcohol Beverage laws as they pertain to serving alcohol
  • Principles and processes for providing excellent customer service, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Basic competence in all front of house duties and tasks
  • Raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills for dealing with the public and employees

  • High school diploma or GED; College degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years events experience in a hospitality environment or equivalent
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
  • Foreign language skills a plus

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

Much of the work consists of conveying and receiving information verbally. While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to stand and walk for long periods of time; use fingers, handle, or feel objects; reach with hands; talk and hear; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, bend, twist and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift, carry, and/or move up to 155 pounds. Use of arms above or below the shoulder is sometimes required. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.  Requires manual dexterity and ability to quickly move hand(s), hand with arm, grasp, manipulate or assemble.
